November Mexican Riviera Cruise
It just seems like the other day that Chuck and I piled in Ethelyn and Craig's souped up van and headed for California. It was before all of this December snow. Laron & Linda and Lee & Klea met us at the Los Angeles Pier and we all boarded the Norwegian Star for a week of relaxation and friendly activities.
When Chuck decided to ran off the ship and all the way through immigration and the parking lot to get his book out of the van I watched out the ship window thinking that I might have a stateroom to myself. He's a fast runner and they let him back onto the ship just before the horn blew and the generators turned the engines to set sail.
The weather was so good for November. As soon as we neared the Mexican border the sunshine was typical tropical and we drank in the warmth. The stongest liquid drink we had was delicious mexican Diet Pepsi.
We spent in port days sight seeing, shopping, walking, riding the tour trolley & taxis. The boys took a tour into the jungle and tried the zip lines. Laron & Linda sneaked away to Lover's Beach.
We spent at sea days sitting on deck, reading, playing cards, watching the dolphins jump, people watching, movies, bingo and trying another eatery every other hour or so.
In the evenings we had dinner together then went to the ship's entertainment shows.
After a week of play we had to clear our rooms and get off the ship so that a new list of passengers could get on. Hope the new folks had as much fun in the cabin as we did!
Another cruise is in the planning .

November Bunko at My House
It's been so long since I've posted that I almost forgot how to sign in. It's been an exciting few weeks. Here are some of the photos from our November fun dice shaking good time. The winners are the girls with the purses.
For December Bunko Amy hosted at Lyn's house. We had a lunch potato bar and took care of some elf work instead of having a regular Bunko Night.

Great Place for a Photo Shoot
Hey, I was looking at a talented aspiring photographer's blog site and these photos really caught my eye. Not only are they great photos, but the background and props are very familiar. Lyf, do you recognize the Dodge ambulance?

What a Place to Lose a Cellphone!
See the orange hunting cap? Chuck isn't deer hunting--he's cell phone hunting. Before cell phone hunting, he was hunting for property line markers
and scrubbed his cell phone off his belt.
No, he didn't find it.
We were able to program and activate his old cell phone on line this evening.
He's sad about losing his new RAZR K1M, but he's happy to have his old phone buddy working again.
Note: When going through brush and such--put your cell phone in a safe place.

Conference Weekend
We got together to watch and listen to General Conference. We feel so blessed to have the Gospel with a living Prophet in our lives. It is such a blessing and joy to be part of an eternal family.
It was fun to have some of the kids around the table again working on projects of various kinds.
Nathan was recruiting help with his UNLV statistics homework. He finally had to be locked away to work on it.
The girls worked on sewing pieced quilt tops.
I had some of the little girls in the kitchen with me making rolls for dinner and cinnamon rolls for dessert. Kids played outside and inside.
Thanks kids, for making Dad & me happy. Be good wherever you are!
