This was the last night of our week long vacation in Arizona.  

It was raining outside--with a typhoon warning.

There are at least 22 things in this picture that prove I am sometimes a true REDNECK.

New Year's Day Ride

This year we loaded up the 4 wheelers and rode to Gunlock to explore some mountains on that side of the county. We were bundled up and ready for a good time.

We were on the look out for a monument honoring a military plane crash.  We came upon this mysterious, but probably useful contraption.  Do you know what it is?

We found the snow. We were trying to decide whether to go through it or go back the way we came. It was fun until Carol suggested that she didn't want to stay on the mountain overnight in the cold and Terrie said that she didn't want us to be on the news. Laron and Linda tried the snow trail to see if it was passable and after returning with some difficulty we all turned around and headed on down the other side. We made it back to the vehicles just before dark. Packed up and headed for St. George and the Golden Corral Buffet.
