Kids Again on the LaVerkin Black Hill

Last Monday night we had family home evening beginning with a bar-b-q at Angie and Lyf's. We then headed for LaVerkin to Ryan and Chani's. Everyone able to climb took off for the black hill to relive memories of playing there years before. The grandkids climbed it for their 1st time. They want to go back when there is more time to explore.
Does anyone else remember playing there?

I have fond memories of hiking to the King and Queen's Chairs. We had some good times in LaVerkin.

Good job Mom, do you know that she published these posts including the pictures and all, by herself?
It was a fun foxtailly time on the hill.

I don't have memories of climbing the hills, but I sure have heart warming memories about LaVerkin and the wonderful people who helped raise us.

I was all over that hill. Lloyd and Seth and Ryan used to catch lizards up there too. Were the King and Queen's chairs inside the Big Boot? I also remember the fox tails. It's amazing how many can fit in one pair of socks. No wonder the hill burned so easily.
Actually, I tried to relive my hill climbing days on H-day of my junior year in high school. I took a couple friends up the hill and over the top down the other side into the river gorge. We had a great time finding natural hot and cold springs in the river until some lady told us she wouldn't call the police if we left right away. My hints that I knew David Anderson didn't do much to dissuade her. But that's another story.
